Climbing in the Saalachtal in the Loferer Steinberge
Climb in a frenzy of heights in the Loferer Steinberge, in Unken Heutal and Nature Park Weißbach
You can either climb independently or with a professional climbingguide. Climbing can be practised in each of the four Saalachtaler resorts, whether on a climbing wall or in the open with a guide or on your own. In the Northern Limestone Alps rugged and craggy rocks dominate and offer the climber numerous opportunities for different ascents.
The Schmidt Zabierow hut (1966 m) on the Loferer Steinberge is the ideal starting point for climbing! Due to the manageable number of visitors the original character of the hut has been maintained and guests can be treated individually.
