There are 18 hiking golf stations in our valley-basin, 9 each in St.Martin and 9 in the area of Lofer The smaller round of 2.5 km is in St. Martin, the larger round of 8 km in Scheffsnoth, district of Lofer. 

Necessary equipment can be borrowed free of charge at the following places:
Tourist Office in Lofer
Municipality Office of St. Martin and most inns and restaurants

Saalachtaler forces of nature

Vorderkaserklamm: Some 13 000 years ago when the glaciers of the last Ice Age melted, the Ödenbach began to carve into the hard rock of Vorderkaserklamm. Walking up the steep track, you will be amazed by the gorgeous view. After visiting the gorge you and your family can prepare a delicious meal on one of the barbecue places in the recreation area .

Seisenbergklamm: At the Seisenbergklamm the "Klammgeist" is waiting for you: He is a “Ghost of Roots” and lives in the gorge. At the entrance to Seisenbergklamm you will receive a small notebook, this is your personal Identification Card. It contains many questions, the answers to which are to be found on the boards along the pathway. Mark each correct answer with a star and you will find the overall solution. Have fun!

Lamprechtshöhle: “Lamprecht´s Cave” is among the deepest water carrying caves in Europe. Every Monday you can join a tour through the cave in search of the hidden treasures of Knight Lamprecht. Whatever you find you may keep, of course.
