Sights in Weissbach
Just take a look at this ...
If we want to be truly accurate, Weissbach is actually one single sight in its own right. After all, Weissbach is a place where nature comes up all trumps, showing herself off from her most beautiful side.
Seisenberg Gorge, for example, was created 12,000 years ago by the massive forces of melting glaciers. It was declared a natural monument due to its natural beauty and uniqueness, and is guaranteed to be a rewarding experience for visitors one and all.
And Weissbach even boasts its own world record-holder – Lamprecht’s Cave. Extending out for some 35 km, it is the world’s biggest multiple-entrance cave yet to be discovered. Naturally enough, regular tours of Lamprecht’s Cave are offered for all of our adventure-hungry visitors.
Culture aficionados should definitely include a side trip to Salzburg City. After all, this “City of Mozart” is barely one hour’s drive from Weissbach. Also close by: Salzburg’s neighbouring province, Tyrol. A visit to St. Johann/Tyrol and the world-famous ski resort of Kitzbühel are particularly worthwhile.
