Follow the water into the Almenwelt Lofer
Whether sporty or leisurely – the waterfall trail from Loderbichl up to the Almenwelt Lofer (or down) is the ideal solution if you want to cool off while hiking, especially on hot days. Once you have reached the top, depending on how much strength you have left, you can keep going higher and conquer a peak or race to the Red Marble Lake. And: you deserve it, so stop for refreshments at one of the mountain restaurants. It tastes twice as good up there.
- Starting point: The start of the adventure path is reached with the Almbahn I
- Length: approx. 3.1 km (to the Almenwelt Lofer)
- Duration: approx. 2–2.5 hours
- Altitude difference: approx. 400 m (1,000 m to 1,400 m)
Well kept paths – not suitable for children´s prams.
