Top Spot Schwarzeck
Seclusion and Silence near the Piste
This top spot is also a very popular destination for many ski tourers who climb up here via Soder-Vocken with skins on their skis. After a short rest they joyfully carve their turns over the untouched slopes. The view into the distance here is enormous: on one side you can see as far as Chiemsee; between craggy rock formations you catch a glimpse of the city of Salzburg; to the south you can see the Hohe Tauern and the prominent “nose“ of the Grubhörndl laughs down on you. You simply cannot get enough of the view here! Should you have had enough of the silent isolation of this top spot, ascend a few metres to the Kechtalm and visit the hosts Hannelore and Günther Flatscher for one of their typical regional specialities or cross over to the piste again and continue your ski day on the perfectly prepared pistes of the Almenwelt Lofer.
