Ski Touring in the Salzburger Saalachtal
On a different Track
In recent years ski touring has developed into a trend sport. More and more people are deciding to ski off the beaten track to carve their own tracks in the snow and to get back to skiing's original roots.
The ascent follows the left-side of the piste and is only permitted during the day. Intermediates can attempt the tours to the Hochalm and the Sontagshorn in Unken while experts will be well-challenged by the Skihörndl in the Loferer Steinberge as well as the Seehorn or the Kammerlinghorn in the Mountain Climbers' Village Weißbach.
Please be aware that ski-touring off-piste should only be attempted with sufficient alpine experience and the right equipment. Therefore we recommend that beginners contact one of our local mountain guides.
