The Saalach is not only a well-known and challenging championship canoe route, here you can also participate in water sports and meet teammates. In winter, the large community of skiers and snowboarders takes to the cable cars and lifts of the ALMENWELT Lofer, to enjoy hours of fun on groomed slopes surrounded by pristine mountains. A stroll through the town centre will round off your holiday perfectly. Panels providing historical background information are located near historic buildings and important sites. Window shopping is also on offer. In cafés and restaurants many delicacies of the Saalachtaler cuisine are served.
