KAYAK ACTION ON THE SAALACH

When the Loferer Whitewater Slaves e.V. invite you to the Lofer Rodeo, the Saalach is in a state of emergency for two days: all eyes are on the brave kayakers who put their skills to the test during these competitions. The head-to-head races in the boatercross are particularly exciting. But there is also plenty of fun to be had at the Lofer Rodeo. The original Lofer Rodeo has been known for its great atmosphere and exuberant parties since the 1990s.

The Lofer Rodeo will take place from 13 to 15 September 2024.

On Friday, the White Water Slaves invite you to night paddling and a chilled evening at the boathouse at the Riverbar.

On Saturday from 10 am – 4 pm you will experience spectacular competitions on the slalom course. Each participant will take part in a qualifying run and the best will go through to the boatercross final, with 4 paddlers competing at the same time.

The award ceremony will take place at 8 pm, followed by the boathouse party.
