The Quickest Way to the Salzburger Saalachtal

By Car

Toll-free from the North:
Motorway A8 / A93 Munich – Innsbruck, exit Oberaudorf via Walchsee, Kössen (B172) and Erpfendorfer Landesstraße (L39) to Lofer, St. Martin, Unken and Weißbach.

It is also possible to travel via Motorway A8 Munich – Salzburg; exit Siegsdorf/Traunstein via the Deutsche Alpenstraße; border crossing Steinpaß (Tunnel) to Unken, Lofer, St. Martin and Weißbach

From the East:
Via the West Motorway A1 Vienna – Salzburg; exit Wals/Lofer via Bundesstraße B21 and B311 to Unken, Lofer, St. Martin and Weißbach.

By Bus & Train

Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (41 km), Bahnhof Bad Reichenhall (17 km): from both railway stations onward travel to the Salzburger Saalachtal with bus number 260. From railway station St. Johann in Tyrol (25 km) you have to take the bus 4012 into the region. With the Salzburger Saalachtal Card you can use the bus line 260 between Salzburg City and the Salzburger Saalachtal free of charge. If you would like to travel by public transport to your accommodation, you can claim this included service before by means of the mobile card or a voucher system (please contact your landlord) Terms of Use.
