Salzburg Transport Mobility Ticket

Free public transport throughout Salzburger Land

From 1 May 2025, overnight guests in Salzburger Land will benefit from the new Mobility Ticket all year round. This standardised ticket is valid for the entire duration of your stay and allows you to use the entire public transport network in Salzburger Land. This includes regional buses, city transport, suburban trains, regional trains, long-distance trains and micro public transport.

This is financed by the so-called mobility tax, which is currently charged at € 0.50 per person (from the age of 15) per night in addition to the overnight stay tax. The landlord can provide you with the ticket before your arrival, so nothing stands in the way of a free public journey. It is easy to use – either as a wallet version on your smartphone or as a PDF, which you can use digitally or in print.
