From the lagoon to the high mountains. In the Geology Park we send you on a journey through time back through millions of years of the Earth’s history. Here you will find traces of the ancient sea, facts about the formation of the mountains and indications of the power of the glaciers in the last Ice Age. Look down into the depths of the glacier mill or feel the form of the fossilized mussels in the rock – this adventure trail invites you to discover the amazing world of rocks with all your senses.
- Starting point: The start of the adventure trail can be found next to the road to Strohwolln (at Cafe Marianne). There are limited parking spaces. We recommend you travel by bus, route 260, (bus stop St. Martin Luftenstein), on foot or by bike.
