Circular Village trail
In the certified hiking village Unken
Guided by Luxi the hiking lynx, you will get to know Unken, its mountains and its history. The path begins at the hiking starting point, right next to the primary school, and leads you over fields to the Hotel Post. On the way back, you walk alongside the Saalach and enjoy a perfect view of the Kalvarienberg with its beautiful chapel. On the way you will find several stations which tell you about astonishing things and valuable facts about the hiking village. Did you know, for example, that Unken used to be an important spa, to which guests travelled even from far away New York?
