It doesn't matter whether the weather gods are acting up; the first liverworts are emerging into the light; the hot summer months are running their course or the leaves are beginning to fall slowly from the trees and cover the ground in a sea of orange foliage - in the Salzburger Saalachtal there's always something going on.
